STONY BROOK OUTREACH CLASSES:

Beginning Flamenco: Thur. 7:30 – 8:30 pm
A basic introductory level class on the fiery gypsy dance of Flamenco,
this class
will cover all the basic techniques of Flamenco style including
footwork, brazeo
(hand and arm movements), palmas (rhythmic hand clapping), castanets and
choreography for both Sevillanas and Flamenco Tangos.

Salsa- basics & turns: Monday 7:30 -8:30 pm
Feel the heat and exercise the fun way as we dance the night away!
In this class you will learn basic Salsa rhythm, shines and turns (on
1 or 2!) as well as the easy
and fun Merengue. NO PARTNER NECESSARY. We will rotate partners in class
so you
can learn to dance alone, lead and partner with anyone!
